The home of Dr. Wilke and Rhoda Waggoner-Drake was gifted to the society in 1999 by Margaret Drake Elliott. The home was given to show young children and adults what life was like in a country doctors home at the turn of the century. The Drake family was the only inhabitants of the home. All of the collections in the home are original. Furniture, photos, clothing, ceramics, as well as musical instruments of times gone by, an extensive library and many old valentines, and other collectables. Included on the property is a memory house which exhibits many medical artifacts of Dr. Drakes including medical books, instruments and a very early x-ray machine.
